My experience at Joe's Resort Bentota was quite unfortunate. The location is great with easy access to the beach, but the overall maintenance of the hotel left much to be desired. The staff is friendly and helpful, but they seem to lack adequate training. While there were some decent standards, the restaurant food quality was a letdown, and the pool issues really soured the stay. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel based on my experience.

We experienced three different rooms during our stay, but unfortunately, they all had issues, mainly with the air conditioning and TV. It felt chaotic to keep shifting around with unfinished repairs.

I had a fantastic experience at Joe's Resort! The hotel has a charming colonial style and offers stunning sea views. The food was delicious, and there was a great variety to choose from. While the pool area and gardens were well-kept, my stay was somewhat marred by service issues and room maintenance. Overall, it's an excellent choice for anyone looking for a lovely getaway in Sri Lanka, but be prepared for a few hiccups during your stay.

My stay at the resort was absolutely delightful! The beachfront location provided a stunning view, and the spacious rooms added to the comfort of my stay. I enjoyed the delicious food offered, especially the buffet dinners. However, I did notice that the pool was a bit on the smaller side. Overall, it was a fantastic experience worth every penny!
